A message from our Principal:

 

Hello, my name is Ramona J. Remble, and I am happy to serve as the Principal of Westdale Middle School. Although I arrived at Westdale in March of 2023, I have over 8 years of administrative experience here in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, and I am enthusiastic about bringing my experience to Westdale.

Westdale Middle School is a special school that hosts a variety of academic programs. Westdale is home to a certified, award-winning World Language Immersion Magnet Program, a Gifted and Talented Program, a Great Scholars Program, and various programs for both Traditional and Exceptional Students. We embrace the diversity of our faculty and student populations and emphasize both equity and unity.

As a graduate of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System and a product of its Gifted, Magnet, and Performing Arts programs, I feel right at home being the newest member of "Hawk Nation". I was fortunate to receive a top-tier education and well-rounded school experience, and it is important to me that all of our students receive the same.

In closing, I would like to say thank you, Hawk Nation, for your warm welcome.  We are focused on a strong finish for this school year and looking forward to improving upon our shared vision of high academic success for all students in the 2023-2024 school year.
